This is awesome; I couldn’t wait to posts this weird movie on my blog. Did you ever thought of watching a Star Wars movie on Dos Command prompt, I bet you never thought because it seems impossible, who thought on CUI interface, we can also watch a movie, but some cool guys made this trick. I think the creator devoted a lot of time to make this work. Actually it is based on ASCII code. Well I’ll not be able to explain its working. If you guys know then please share your information through comment.

Note: – This movie doesn’t have sound and color but the subtitles are great. You should at least have a try. See the sample in below images shown.

Follow these simple steps to watch Star Wars movie on Dos Command Prompt and huh don’t forget to grab your seat: -

  1. Click on Start Menu.
  2. Now click on Run.
  3. Type “telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl” (without quotes).
  4. Click on ok or press enter.

That’s it. Now enjoy the show!!!

lol, i never thought of watching movie on cmd before.Although it was made based on ASCII mode, it’s quite cool. lmao

hey once u disconnect net n then try to run it….
I guess its not stored on ur PC
its located on this server..”towel.blinkenlights.n”
