The Five Best Methods to Download YouTube Videos.

There are basic methods available in internet to download videos from YouTube website. You might be wondering why it is better to save/download videos from YouTube.

Suppose you stumble upon an interesting video in YouTube and you want to download in your computer and later share it with your friends or keep it as a collection.

However, we know that by default YouTube doesn’t allow users to save/download the videos. It only allows users to send a hyperlink to friends and invite them to go to YouTube website to view the videos.

Sometimes it becomes a problem because those videos may get deleted or gone forever due to copyright infringement; why not save/download the video before it’s too late. Also you can see them offline.

I am going to lists some of the most popular methods on How to download videos from YouTube website. These are as follows:

1. Method - The magic of KISS

It is the simplest and easiest method of downloading video from YouTube.

Whenever you are watching video on YouTube, go to the address bar at the top of your browser.
Notice the URL is something like this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRTk0RPXtW4
Just in front of the YouTube.com, insert the word kiss : http://www.kissyoutube.com/watch?v=tRTk0RPXtW4
Press the Enter key and it will bring you to kissyoutube.com, click on the download link provided to save the video to your computer.

Note: Remember to save your video with .flv extension. For example

some_video_filename.flv

To play all such downloaded videos you need to have flv player installed in your system. All such players are available as a free download. Download free flv player .

2. Method- keepvid

Keepvid helps you to download videos from YouTube(You can also download videos other than Youtube videos on Keepvid).

How to download, simple follow this

Copy your video url and paste it on Keepvid, when you click download, you will be provided with a link to save the video as an FLV file or MP4 file.

3. Method- Orbit Downloader

Orbit Downloader can download youTube video very easily in a great speed in flv format. For this you will need to install orbit downloader in your system. If you don’t have one. Download a free Orbit Downloader and install it.

Now Open the Orbit downloader. Run the ‘Grap video’ item from the ‘Tools’ menus.
Copy your video url and paste it on the ‘Grab video’ and then press Enter.
Click download, the video will be downloaded.

4. Method- Firefox Addons

For Firefox Users - Download and Install the Video Downloader Extensions from Mozilla Addons Website- it downloads all the embedded objects on a webpage including the video clips.

5. Method

You can also download video from YouTube Downloader.

Hi jimm, kiss method is really great, the thing is that their site is down as that have stated in their website. hope they will correct the problem and will soon kiss the video again.
