How to Listen to your PDF files

How to Listen to your PDF files, from now onwards if you don’t like reading PDF files or you have some important work to do and still need to go through an important PDF file? Then you can work in parallel and continue with your work while you listen your PDF files. Interesting isn’t it? It works in Adobe reader 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, and even on 9.0

So what is the procedure to Listen PDF files, Just follow these simple methods: -

  1. Ctrl + Shift + Y - Activate the Read Out Loud Option (This is the first step you need to do)
  2. Ctrl + Shift + V - to hear the page (View->Read out Loud->Read this Page)
  3. Ctrl + Shift + B - to hear the entire Document (View->Read out Loud->Read to End of Document)
  4. Ctrl + Shift + C - to Pause
  5. Ctrl + Shift + E - to Stop

If the speech is not convenient to hear because the voice is very fast or loud, you can adjust that by following steps: -

  1. Choose Edit->Preferences
  2. Choose Reading from the list on the left. This displays the default reading preference settings
  3. Set desired volume level
  4. Choose a voice. On Windows you only have the default voice
  5. You can set the pitch and words per minute also
  6. Choose a reading order from the pop-up menu and click Ok

So try it today if you were unaware of this and how you think about the features of the Adobe Reader?

Note: - I have tested in many of my PDF files, it works well except one file, I couldn’t find out why? So guys if you share your experience then it may be more useful to all the users.

How to Resize the Images or Pictures Freely

I have just learned yesterday how to resize the Image or Picture Freely by using a simple free windows XP tool. This windows XP tool is not on the default installation. So you will have to install by yourself. You can download the tool freely from the link image resizer.

Download and save it in your Hard Disk and double click it and installed it.

Remember: - This is not a program that you’ll be able to find in Start/All Programs but it’s actually a function that allows you to resize any sort of picture quick and easy.

You can also use the Image Resizer to resize any photos so they’ll fit on a compatible cell phone, personal digital assistant (PDA), or Portable Media Center so you can enjoy your photos while on the go. Using the Image Resizer is easy, and it will preserve your original photos for other uses you may have in the future

Lets see how to resize the images or pictures

1. Open the folder where you have the picture to resize, select it and right click it.

2. As you can see there is a new option on the menu, Resize Picture, click on it.

3. Here you can select the size you want. If you want you can click on the advanced section.

4. On the advanced menu select the new size and you also have the option to resize the original or create copies.

5. Click OK and you have done it. Easy as that

If you have to resize multiple pictures, hold Ctrl while you selecting your pictures, right click and do the same as from step 2 to 5
