Hide the Floppy Drive in XP

Whenever I open My Computer in my PC , I always see icon Floppy Drive, which i never use and I bet many of you no longer use a Floppy drive these days, so there’s no reason for it to be displayed in My Computer. So I though why not hide or disable it.
So Follow the Following Steps to Hide the Floppy Drive.
- Open Registry Editor(regedit) in Run under Start Menu.
- Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
- Create a new Dword Value and name it as NoDrives.
- Double click Dword and Assign it a value equal to 1.
- Exit the editor and reboot.
To show the Floppy Drive again just Delete the Dword Value NoDrives.
Do you still use Floppy Drive, if yes then for what reason?
