Whenever I open My Computer in my PC , I always see icon Floppy Drive, which i never use and I bet many of you no longer use a Floppy drive these days, so there’s no reason for it to be displayed in My Computer. So I though why not hide or disable it.

So Follow the Following Steps to Hide the Floppy Drive.

    1. Open Registry Editor(regedit) in Run under Start Menu.
    2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
    3. Create a new Dword Value and name it as NoDrives.
    4. Double click Dword and Assign it a value equal to 1.
    5. Exit the editor and reboot.

To show the Floppy Drive again just Delete the Dword Value NoDrives.

Do you still use Floppy Drive, if yes then for what reason?
