Yeah blogging buddha, you are right. Their offer was too good to ignore. I too falled trap and suffered. Anyway I learned very quickly which have helped me out.

I used pay-ads before, and I had the same results. Their offer was quite unbelievable and I was lured into it. Later, Blogcatalog members alerted me, that they were being redirected to some other sites.
Now their hosting account has been suspended.

i know this before. i’m also a victim of this program. All my blogspot blog was delete by google because of this. pay-ads.com pay me once before i found it bad.

this discuss long over digitalpoint.com and blogcatalog.com.

p/s: their offer is nice(3.5cpm) but something behind is really against search engine like google.
