Have you ever tried to send folder as an attachment in an email but you couldn’t because many companies like gmail, yahoomail, rediffmail etc allows only to send files. So there is no option for sending entire folders through email. But If you really want to send folder then there is a simple method. Many of you might already know this.

For this method you will need software like winrar or winzip. Download free software winrar and winzip.

For Winrar, Right click on the folder, select Add to archive then click ok.

Windows will add the folder to archive and now you can upload and send it through email.

Also you can do this through winzip software. Right click on the folder, select “Send To” and then “Compressed Zip folder”.

zip the folderzip the folder

Windows will compress the folder and it will appear as a compressed folder with the same name next to original folder. Upload it and send it through email.
